What is a Chartered University in Uganda?

First of all, Section 103(a) of the Universities and Other Tertiary Institutions Act was amended in the year 2001. Hence, the amendment allows universities to be granted full operations as government universities. For this reason, a Chartered University is any university approved by the Ministry of Education that’s comparable to a Government Public University. On the other hand, most individuals asked us some of these questions.

Is Cavendish University Uganda Chartered?

YES. Cavendish University Uganda is licensed, accredited, and chartered by the National Council for Higher Education of Uganda. In other words, both Cavendish university Uganda and UTAMU University are chartered universities in Uganda.

Certainly, the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) granted Mountains of the Moon University (MMU) a Charter University in Uganda. Is Uganda Pentecostal University chartered?

Accredited. Uganda Pentecostal University is certified & accredited by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) of the Government of Uganda.

Is Victoria University a chartered university?
