There are various types of cooperatives in Uganda, but the most common ones include agricultural marketing cooperatives, fishing cooperatives, consumer cooperatives, savings and credit cooperatives (SACCOs), farm supply cooperatives, dairy cooperatives, insurance cooperatives, transport cooperatives.
