Rwenzori School of Nursing and Midwifery (RSONAMKA) is a training school institution in Rwenzori Region Kasese Municipality, Kasese District on plot no. – 123-29 Kabarole road.
It is aimed at empowering Nurses and Midwives with knowledge and skills within easy reach for better service delivery to offer Certificate courses in Nursing and Midwifery

ROSNMKA offers certificate courses in enrolled nursing, midwifery, and in future the School will offer, diploma in nursing and midwifery, Bachelor of science in nursing, Advanced programs in Counseling, health information technology and school matron training.

Admission Requirement
- Apply for certificate in enrolled nursing and midwifery
- Apply for Diploma course in health information technology
Certificate calendar in take: May and November each calendar year.
Health information technology intake February each calendar year.
Nursing is an increasing complex and exciting field, one the fastest growing segment of the health care sector. District and Rwenzori region has shortages of nurses especially the qualified and experienced midwives as evidenced by recent recruitment in health sector and few midwives submitted in the applications for the jobs.
To solve this problem, the reason to why Rwenzori School of Nursing and midwifery Kasese has to start and train the cadres. ROSNMKA intends to expand training centers to other Districts in the Country aiming at service delivery to benefit the community
