University of Dar Es Salaam Computing Center (UCC) Application Forms
The University of Dar es Salaam Computing Centre invites applications for admission from qualified candidates into its Diploma and Certificate programs at the University of Dar es Salaam Computing Centre for the Sept intake for the Academic Year.
Once admitted into the University of Dar Es Salaam Computing Centre (UCC), successful applicants will be expected to report for studies on 16th Oct 2024 for the Academic Year.
All requisite information and guidelines to take the applicant through the application stages are provided from the PROGRAMMES Instructions tab
Applicants are reminded to register their names as they appear in the Ordinary Certificate of Secondary Education (CSE) and Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (ACSE) including index numbers where prompted.
Applicants with foreign certificates are required to first present their certificates to the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) for verification at: www.necta.go.tz. NECTA will issue them letters showing equivalence numbers and grades.
Applicants with equivalent qualifications (e.g. holders of diplomas and certificates) are advised to obtain an award verification number (AVN) from the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) at www.nacte.go.tz.
a) Certificate in Business Information Technology (One Year)
Certificate of Secondary Education with at least four (4) passes in non–religious subjects OR National
Vocational Training Award Level III (Trade Test Grade I) from any recognized institution.
b) Certificate in Computing and Information Technology (One Year)
Certificate of Secondary Education with at least four (4) passes in non–religious subjects OR National Vocational Training Award Level III (Trade Test Grade I) from any recognized institution
c) Diploma in Business Information Technology (2 Years)
Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) with one (1) principal pass and one (1) subsidiary pass OR Basic Technician Certificate (NTA Level 4) in Computer Science (CS), Information
Technology (IT), Business Information Technology (BIT), Business Administration, Accountancy, Procurement, and Supply Management.
d) Diploma in Computing and Information Technology (2 years)
Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education with at least one principal pass and a subsidiary OR Basic
Technician Certificate (NTA Level 4) in Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), Business Information Technology (BIT), Computer Engineering, and Electronic Engineering.
