Heri Nursing School Courses Offered
Heri nursing school started on 31 October 2014. The nursing school is a faith-based organization under the Tanzania Seventh Day Adventist church through Heri Adventist mission hospital.
It was established for the purpose of serving the community of Manyovu and Tanzania at large. Also since Kigoma Region had two nursing institutions that are far away from Manyovu, so this area was missing this service. So as to base on the mission and vision of the level 4 and 5 Curriculum.
In November 2014 students enrolled were 25, (males 21 and females 4) Second group of students was enrolled in November 2015 with 20 students ( 6 females and 14 males), and in 2016 students enrolled 29 (21 males and 8 females)
At the time, the school had four nurse tutors (three females and one male). Currently, the school is in the process of securing accreditation and adding more tutors and more programs/faculties
