Applicants who choose to apply directly to AMUCTA should take these steps;
– Understand the requirements for admission.

Bachelor of Business Administration (3 years)
This three-year programme challenges students to examine the responsibilities of the Accountant, Marketer, Entrepreneur, Procurement officer, Human resource officer, Banker and other business professionals in contemporary society. This three-year programme challenges students to examine the responsibilities of the Accountant, Marketer, Entrepreneur, Procurement officer, Human resource officer, Banker and other business professionals in contemporary society.
Minimum Entry Requirement
1. Applicants must have two principal passes in ACSEE minimum of four (4) points, if one pass is not in mathematics, a subsidiary or pass of mathematics in level is required
2. Applicants seeking admission under the equivalent qualifications
i. At least three O`level credit passes in relevant subjects.
ii. A recognized Diploma NTA Level 6 from a recognized Institution with an average of “B” or a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Bachelor of Arts with Education (3 Years)
This course combines academic and professional training that leads to a Bachelor of Arts with an Education degree in Arts subjects. This three years course includes the study of two academic subjects together with professional subjects required for Teachers’ Education.
There is an emphasis on active participatory teaching methods in addition to developing practical teaching skills. Microteaching and block teaching practice form an integral part of the course. In addition, Education students also take all institutional courses. Available subjects include Linguistics, Literature, Kiswahili, Geography and History.
Minimum Entry Requirement
A. Direct entry applicants
i. At least three O’level credit passes in approved subjects.
ii. Two principal passes in ACSEE minimum of four (4) points in the following subjects: History, Geography, Kiswahili, English Language, Literature in English, French, Arabic, Fine Art,), where A = 5, B = 4, C = 3;D = 2,E = 1
B. Applicants seeking admission under the equivalent qualifications
i. At least three O`level credit passes in relevant subjects.
ii. Holders of Ordinary Diplomas, (NTA) Level 6 with a GPA of 3.0 or recognized Diploma in Education with at least grade B average in the subjects they wish to study at degree level.
Bachelor of Education (Special Needs) (3 Years)
This programme introduces the field of special needs education and produces teachers specializing in either hearing or visual impairment
Minimum Entry Requirement
A. Direct entry applicants
i. At least three O’level credit passes in approved subjects.
ii. Two principal passes in Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education in the following subjects: History, Geography, Kiswahili, English Language, Literature in English, French, Arabic, Fine Art, with 4.0 points. where A = 5, B = 4, C = 3,D = 2,E = 1,S = 0.5
B. Applicants seeking admission under the equivalent qualifications
i. At least three O`level credit passes in relevant subjects.
ii. A recognized Diploma in Education with an average of “B” or a minimum GPA of 3.0.
