What Is Bachelor of Science Economics?
The Bachelor of Economics is a four-year undergraduate degree in economic theory, econometrics and applied economics; other titles are Bachelor in Economic Sciences and Bachelor of Applied Economics. Specialized economics degrees are also offered as a BA, BSc, BCom, BSocSc; these degrees may span three years.

General Minimum Entry Requirements
The minimum entry requirements for admission to a bachelor’s degree
programme are
(a) For direct entry
(i) Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE); and
(ii) At least 2 principal passes at Uganda Advanced Certificate of
Education (UACE) obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent.
(b) For mature age entry

(ii) Must have passed mature age entry examinations with 50% mark and above.
Admission Requirement For Bachelor of Science Economics At Gulu University
The minimum requirements for admission to any Undergraduate degree programme are: Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent with at least 5 passes. Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or its equivalent with at least 2 principal passes. Diploma holders must have passed with at least a credit.
