Background of Uganda Technical College Bushenyi

Uganda Technical College Bushenyi is a recognized Public Tertiary Institution, under the Ministry of Education and Sports under the direct supervision of the department of Business Technical Vocational Education and Training (BTVET) . It is governed under the University and other Tertiary institution, Act 2001.It is mandated to;

Provide Full Time and Part time courses of study and training in such fields of applied learning and research as the Minister may specify in the instrument establishing the institution.
Arrange and organize conferences , seminars , workshops and study groups in its field of operation. Perform such other functions as may be directed by the Minister on the advise of the National Council in the promotion of higher education.
