All admissions are handled by the Registrar’s office. Students submit the duly filled application forms which can be downloaded from the website or bought from the university together with all their academic document. For any queries on admissions please email: info@ciu.ac.ug
Application forms are received through out the year for the August and February intake.
Pre Admission Programmes
All foreign students whose previous education was instructed in another language other than English will be expected to attend an CIU two months English course before start of the Academic year or present a TOEFL or ILETS certificate or its equivalent.
Entry Requirements
Candidates for Postgraduate Programmes
- Correctly & duly filled CIU Application Form (Fees apply).
- 2 passport size photographs, not more than 6 months old.
- Photocopy of a valid photo-Identity Card
- Certified copies of proof of a primary degree (at least a second class honours) from a recognized tertiary institution.
- 2 Letters of Reference (Academic and Professional).
Candidates for Undergraduate Programmes
- Correctly & duly filled IHSU Application Form (Fees apply).
- Certified copies of Ordinary and Advanced Level (UCE, UACE) or their equivalent from a recognized institution.
- 2 passport size photographs, not more than 6 months old.
- Photocopy of a valid photo-Identity Card
- 1 Reference Letter (Academic or Professional)
