Document verification is a process for document authentication and proving document ownership. For example: verifying that financial statements, passports, licenses, utility bills, and certifications are real and actually belong to the applicant who submitted them. Document verification is the process of verifying the employment documents and education documents supplied by your candidates.
Document verification is the process of verifying the authenticity of a document. Officially issued documents, such as a driver’s license, bank statement, or other state/federal documents, are usually the most accepted, verifiable documents. A major benefit of customer verification is that it allows businesses to follow through with government laws and regulations. Moreover, customer verification processes help in reducing risks of fraud and costs incurred from fraud arising from incorrect information provided by customers.
Document verification is the process of confirming the authenticity of a document through certain characteristics like watermarks. Document verification can also occur online through facial authentication and uploads of government-issued IDs. Verification Certificate means a certificate described in any Bank Document and given by a director or secretary of any Guarantor confirming the matters described therein.
Request For Documents Verifications In Uganda
Generate payment assessment through the URA portal and make payments using any method of your choice i.e. through the bank, mobile money etc.

Upon completion, click the submit bottom to submit request for document certification.
Verification Process For Documents Verifications In Uganda
In Uganda, legalization has been replaced by a verification process. During the verification process the relevant Ugandan documents are being verified concerning genuineness, correctness of content and if they were issued in accordance with the then valid Ugandan law.
This enables holders of Ugandan documents to obtain the required legal validity for their documents in Germany.
This verification process is obligatory when applying
Family / Spousal Reunion
German Birth Certificate (Registration of birth of a child in Uganda with the German birth Register)
German Marriage Certificate (Registration of a marriage in Uganda with the German marriage Register)
German Passport (for first time applicants with one Ugandan parent and / or born in Uganda)
Please note that the verification process will take a minimum of three months or longer. We kindly ask for your understanding that no status requests on the verification process can be made during the first three months. We will notify the applicant on any change of status or progress of the verification process as soon as possible and whenever the need arises.
The documents to be submitted for verification vary according to the purpose of your application and are listed below. Please review the requirements carefully and adhere to them, as this will save you valuable time and effort throughout the process. We ask for yor understanding that the visa section will not be responsible for making necessary copies.
Please note that each verification process is reviewed individually. Therefore, the requested documents may vary and the German Embassy reserves the right to ask for additional documents / information if needed.
Fees for verification

The amount of documents submitted for verification does not affect the fee.
