French Visa Requirements In Uganda
Visa fee in UGX
Effective 1st February 2020, the Schengen visa fee per application will increase from 60€ to 80€ (from 35€ to 40€ for children aged 6 to 12 years). This change in tariff does not apply to short-stay visas for overseas territories or negotiated tariffs (facilitation agreements). This fee has to be paid in cash and in Ugandan Shillings. The exact price may vary according to the exchange rate.
One appointment for each application
If you want to apply with your family or colleagues, you need to book one appointment per person.
Please visit France-visas to apply for your visa and book an appointment online.
Book your appointment at least four (4) months ahead of your travel date to avoid any inconveniences.
Respect the schedule to guarantee the visa service acess
Respecting the exact time of your appointment, will guarantee your access to the visa service. If you arrive late, you may not have access to the Visa service and may have to book a new appointment online.
A complete application speeds up process and result
Complete applications will be processed in priority. Before applying for your visa, make sure you have all the requested documents.
Applications with missing documents will be processed later and only after being completed. The deadline to bring your missing documents is two open days. Past this time, your application will be considered as uncomplete and will be refused/discontinued.
If you have to complete your file, insert the documents in an envelope to be deposited at the entrance of the Embassy and indicate your name, given name (as per passport) and your receipt number on the envelope.
Forged documents leads to the rejection of the application
The visa service checks the authenticity of the submitted documents. If forged documents are submitted, the visa will automatically be refused and applicant will be negatively registered.
