How To Schedule Passport Interview Appointment?

  • Visit passports.go.ug
  • Click “Schedule appointment” button
  • Input “Application number, date of birth, Surname and given text”
  • Click “Retrieve”
  • Click on choice of date of choice from available dates

Wait for the page to load and either download and save, or download and print your interview appointment form.

Note: It is recommended you only go about the above once you have paid the fees to the bank. Your recommender must sign and also attach their photocopy of the national ID, in addition to the recommendation letter before you can submit in your application to Immigration control office depending on your selection of submission.

What Happens If You Miss Passport Appointment?

What happens if I am unable to attend my passport application appointment? If you fail to attend your passport application appointment, you can reschedule it from the passport seva portal. You can do it twice in a year. Post that, your application will be cancelled and you have to submit a new application.

How Can I Get My Passport Appointment Reference Number?

Applicants who have successfully booked an appointment will receive their reference number through the email address they have in the online appointment system.

How Can I Get Passport Appointment By SMS?

You can enrol for SMS SERVICE while filling the application form or uploading the e-Form at Online Portal. In case you have submitted the application form online or uploaded e-Form, you can enrol for SMS SERVICES using the link ‘Enrol for SMS Services’ available under ‘Services’ section after login.

How Many Days Will Take To Get A Passport?

30-45 days

When a normal application is filed, the passport is issued to the applicant within 30-45 days while if the application is made under the Tatkaal mode, the passport is issued within 7-14 days.
