About Kibuli School of Nursing and Midwifery
Kibuli Muslim Hospital started as a small clinic in 1984 offering outpatient services. It advanced to a nursing home with 59 beds and in 1995 it was launched a fully operational hospital with 150 beds.
It developed overtime with different specialties and different training schools like: School of nursing and wifery launched in 2005, school of medical laboratory technology launched in 2011. These train both diploma and certificate levels. Right now Kibuli Muslim hospital has a 212 stuff a cross the whole hospital with the nursing department as the biggest.

Entry Requirements
- Applicant MUST have completed their A-Level and obtained at least 2 principal passes, one of which MUST be in Biology
- Applicant MUST satisfy the requirements of the Joint Admissions
- Board (JAB) of the Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES
- Applicant MUST have been in school within 3 years prior to application
Certificate in Comprehensive Nursing [CCN]
Entry Requirements
- Completion or possession of an O-Level Certificate with passes in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Must be 18 years and/or above
- Must have been in school within the previous 3 years before applying
Candidates MUST satisfy the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES) and the Ministry of Health (MoH) interview panel.

Those who may not appear on this list but come from the Western Region should go to attend their interviews from 19th – 23rd of April at Mayanja Memorial Medical Training Institute in Mbarara.
