ABOUT KIWOKO HOSPITAL
Kiwoko Hospital is a rural hospital located in Kiwoko Town Council in Nakaseke district,78km from Kampala. It is a 204 bed, Private Not for Profit health facility that is owned by the Church of Uganda. The facility started out under a tree and has been in existence since 1988. It is dedicated to serving the poor and vulnerable people in the Greater Luwero Triangle. It has a catchment area of approximately 1,000,000 people that come majorly from Nakaseke, Luwero & Nakasongola districts and sees nearly 70,000 patients every year through its main general Out Patient Department, ten Specialist Outpatient Clinics, five Inpatient Wards and active Community Based Health Care Programme. Through its Health Training Institute, the hospital produces human resource for health. All this is in addition to spreading the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ
