1). Katanga slumKatanga slum, Kampala, is a neighborhood within the city of Kampala and is located in the division of Kawempe.

It borders the Makerere hill and Mulago hill that houses Uganda’s main hospital(Mulago). Katanga slum is one of the biggest slums in Kampala, a walkable distance from the city center of Kampala of less than 2Km. This is a community where the average person lives on 4$ a day or less.

This means many can’t afford medical expenses, school fees, and left with the only option of feeding a family with a meal.
