ORDINARY DIPLOMA IN CLINICAL MEDICINE
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Admission to the programme of Ordinary Diploma in Clinical Medicine will be open to candidates.
Students should have the following passes as prerequisites

PROGRAMME DURATION
The whole programme of the Ordinary Diploma in Clinical Medicine has a total of 44 weeks of study in one academic year, which is divided in two semesters. ORDINARY DIPLOMA IN NURSING
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Admission to the programme will be open to candidates who have a minimum of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with passes in Science subjects; Biology, Chemistry, Physics, at least grade D or above, pass in English language is an added advantage.

Holders of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with four (4) Passes in non-religious Subjects including two (2) credit “C” Passes in any of Chemistry, Biology and Physics/Engineering Sciences provided one is not less than Pass “D”, a Pass in English Language and Basic Mathematics is an added advantage.
PROGRAMME DURATION
The NTA Level 4 programme has a total of 44 weeks of study, which are divided in two semesters. Eleven (11) weeks are set aside for theoretical training and 33 weeks are designated for clinical practice.
(Ratio of theory to practice 1:3) The first semester is meant to provide basic nursing knowledge, skills and appropriate attitudes to students.
All modules are fundamental and are intended to build students knowledge and skills necessary for acquiring competences for the practice of nursing; instil motivation for life-long learning and good foundation for progress studies in nursing. The second semester is meant to consolidate knowledge and build technical and practical skills, hence enable students to gain appropriate clinical exposure and the application of basic concepts in this field of study.
DIPLOMA IN CLINICAL MEDICINE (Upgrading)
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Holder of Technician Certificate (NTA level 5) in Clinical Medicine with “D” pass in Biology, Chemistry or Physics (CSEE) for the graduates starting from 2010; OR Graduates before NTAs system should have a certificate in Clinical Medicine and at least D Pass in any of science subject; Necessary Attachments: Technician Certificate and Transcript in Clinical Medicine and Letter of permission from the employer for graduates before 2015..
