Mbarara University of Science and Technology MUST Opening Dates
The university will open on the following dates
- New students will report on January 2023
- Continuing students will report on January 2023
The new student (Undergraduate): For registration, you must bring with you the following: –
- Original Uganda Certificate of Education (both certificate and result slip) or equivalent plus three copies of it.
- Original Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (certificate and result slip) or equivalent, plus three copies.
- Three (3) colored passport-size photographs showing your current likeness (head and shoulders).
- An Identity Card from your previous school/college plus a copy of it.
- An original Birth Certificate and/or National ID plus a copy of it/them.
- All International students shall be required to provide a comprehensive Life Assurance Cover for the duration of their study before registration.
The new student (Postgraduate): For registration, you must bring with you the following: –
- Original Transcripts plus three certified copies of it.
- Original Certificates plus three certified copies of it.
- Original Uganda Certificate of Education and Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education Level Certificates and results or equivalent plus three copies of each.
- Four (4) colored passport-size photographs showing your current likeness (head and shoulders).
- For students in the clinical disciplines, evidence of registration with respective professional bodies and valid practicing license plus a certified copy of each
- For qualifications attained outside Uganda, a certificate of equivalence from Uganda National Examinations Board and/or Uganda National Council for Higher Education
- A valid National Identity Card or Passport plus one copy of it
- An original Birth Certificate and /or National ID plus one copy of it.
- All International students shall be required to provide a comprehensive Life Assurance Cover for the duration of their study before registration.
PAYMENT PROCEDURE
STEPS 1: Access to the Students Portal.
You can access the Students Academic Information Management System (AIMS) through the link below; https://student.must.ac.ug
STEPS 2: Activating Students Account in AIMS.
After clicking on the above link, the Login Page appears. Use your Registration Number to log in and please follow instructions provided on the Login Page
STEP 3 : Click on Get a Payment Reference Button
STEP 4
Select the option of Depositing money on the student’s account for future Invoices as shown below. Alternatively, Select New Student (My First Semester) and Year 1 under Enrolment Info in STEP 3 above. Click ENROL button. Invoice(s) for the current semester will be created and you can select which invoice(s) you wish to pay.
STEP 5 : Enter the amount of money. Then Click on Generate Reference Button.
STEP 6
Print or Copy the Zeepay Ref Number and the amount on the invoice, and make payment through any Commercial Bank or use Mobile Money and Airtel Money options. Money is paid on Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Collection account. Payment Reference Numbers expire after 48 hours.
PLEASE NOTE:
- All deposits must be made in Ugandan Shillings Currency.
- The University allows payment of fees in installments but for a student to be registered, must pay at least pay Functional Fees, NCHE fees, and ID fees. The amount is indicated on the admission letter
- All fees MUST be deposited through any Commercial Bank or use Mobile Money and Airtel Money.
