Center for Mental Health Services, also known as community mental health teams in the United Kingdom, support or treat people with mental disorders in a domiciliary setting, instead of a psychiatric hospital. Mental health services (primary mental health services) are defined in terms of direct and indirect care to patients with mental disorders in ambulatory settings.

Mental Health Awareness Month provides a timely reminder that that mental health is essential and that those living with mental health issues are deserving of care, understanding, compassion, and pathways to hope, healing, recovery, and fulfillment.

Improved concentration, enhanced creativity, reduced absenteeism, increased productivity and better overall performance are all very real benefits of good mental health. Mental health problems can impact the academic performance and success of a college student. Poor mental health contributes to lack of motivation and problems focusing which can lead to failing grades. Campus-wide mental health resources for students to seek support could be the key to their academic success.
