Who is eligible to apply?
Holders of Form Six/A Level (ACSEE) certificates
Holders of Ordinary Diploma
Application Procedure
i. Applicants are advised to read carefully the admission requirements for each programme they anticipate to apply in the advertisement before starting the application to ensure that they understand the admission requirements for program they intend to apply to.
ii. Applicants are reminded to ensure that the names and index numbers used during applications for admission match with those used during their studies.
iii. All applicants holding foreign qualifications must have their qualifications validated and equated by the respective regulatory bodies/ Authorities before submitting their applications for admissions as follows:
The National Examination Council of Tanzania ( NECTA) in respect of Certificates of Secondary Education and Teacher Education
The National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) in respect of NTA Level 6 qualification.
All Diploma applicants MUST have a valid Award Verification Number (AVN) issued by NACTE. Application submitted without AVN will NOT be processed.
iv. Applicants must ensure that they have adequate information for the programs of their choice, taking into account competition, one’s passes, and career aspiration (s).
v. Only applicants who meet minimum entry requirements should apply for admission
vi. Applicants will be selected to join the University based on their qualifications and fulfilment of entry requirements.
vii. Applicants are informed and reminded that it is an offense to submit false information for admission. Any candidate who will be discovered to have submitted false information will NOT be considered and appropriate legal action will be taken against them.
viii. Students who discontinued studies on academic grounds from this or any other University shall only be eligible for re-admission or admission respectively to this University for the same or any other program at least three (3) years after discontinuation from studies.
ix. Students who discontinued studies on disciplinary grounds or due to examination irregularities shall NOT be re-admitted to this University.
Mode of Application
All Applicants for Degree Programs are required to apply online through the university website www.muhas.ac.tz and follow instructions given by the online application system to apply for the degree programs of their choice. Before you start applying, make sure you have an email address and a valid mobile number.
Application fees (non -refundable) 10,000/= TZS (for local applicants) should be paid to the University via mobile money by carefully following payment instructions and procedures which are in the application portal.
For foreign applicants, the application fee is 10 USD which should be deposited directly to MUHAS NBC Bank account. All transfer charges must be borne by the applicants themselves

Applicants must ascertain that they possess the minimum entry qualifications before they pay the fees as the fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.
