Process Of Company Registration In Uganda

Registration is the process by which a company files required documents with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), detailing the particulars of a proposed public offering. The registration typically has two parts: the prospectus and private filings.

Company Registration in Uganda is done by The Uganda Registration Services Bureau, an autonomous statutory body established by Chapter 210 Laws of Uganda in 1998. under Section 4(2) of URSB Act the Bureau is mandated to Carry out all registrations required under the relevant laws.

Search for the business name.

Reserve the Business Name.

Obtain a Trading License.

Register with National Social Security Fund (NSSF)

Procedure Of Company Registration In Uganda

Particulars of the Director’s, Manager or Secretary – Form-32. After processing of the Form is complete and Corporate Identity is generated obtain Certificate of Incorporation from RoC. File a declaration in eForm 19 and attach the prospectus (Schedule II) to it. Obtain the Certificate of Commencement of Business.
