WELCOME RUBYA HEALTH TRAINING INSTITUTE 

The Institution is situated in Muleba district in the northwest of Muleba town. It is about 20 km from the Muleba district head quarter and 90 km from Bukoba municipal. It is in a high plateau.

A center of excellence in the training of health workers to provide quality health care to all clients.

MISSION

The Institution is committed to training competent health workers in line with gospel values who will promote physical psychological, social and spiritual welfare of the people through adequate and modern learning facilities

GOALS

  1. Provide the quality and competitive education to students through provision of up-to-date learning materials
  2. Strengthened Institution structures and systems in order to enhance management efficiency and effectiveness
  3. Building capacity of human resources to meet emerging challenges in health training
  4. Providing adequate physical infrastructure facility to meet current and future requirements of Institution
  5. Improve students’ welfare in the areas of catering and boarding, health services, recreation, recreation, transport and students’ involvement in decision making organs.
  6. Mobilize adequate financial resources to meet recurrent and developmental expenditure needs of the Institution

 2.TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATE IN MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGYHolders of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with five (5) Passes in non-religious Subjects including “D” Passes in Chemistry, Biology, Physics/Engineering Sciences, Basic Mathematics and English Language; AND Possession of Basic Technician Certificate (NTA Level 4) in Medical Laboratory Sciences. 60 2
 3.TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATE IN CLINICAL MEDICINEHolders of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with four (4) Passes in non-religious Subjects including “D” Passes in Chemistry, Biology and Physics/Engineering Sciences; AND Possession of Basic Technician Certificate (NTA Level 4) in Clinical Medicine. 60 2

 6.ORDINARY DIPLOMA IN NURSING (IN SERVICE)Holder of Technician Certificate (NTA level 5) in Nursing with “D” pass in Biology, Chemistry or Physics (CSEE) for the graduates starting from 2010; OR Graduates before NTAs system should have certificate in Nursing and Midwifery/Public Health Nurse B and at least “D” Pass in any of science subject; AND Work experience of two (2) years and above, Necessary Attachments: Register and License to practice by TNMC, Technician Certificate and Transcript in the related field and Letter of permission from employer 50 2
