We offer Certificate in Nursing and Certificate in Midwifery. Diploma Courses coming soon.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

candidates must have passed biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and English with at least a pass at O-level. A-Level is an added advantage. The school has got two(2) one intakes of January and July every year.

TRAINING

The training is organized in semester system as Ministry of Education and sports curricula for each program. Teaching is both theory and practical characterized by field attachment to hospital and health centers.

ACADEMIC ASSESSMENT

Certificate in Nursing and certificate in Midwifery courses each last for 2½ years. At the end of each semester of the course students sit for exams set by Uganda Nurses and Midwives Examination Board [UNMEB] to qualify them to practice as nurses and midwives.

HOW TO APPLY

Application forms can be picked from the Academic Registrar’s office at a fee of 35000 Uganda Shillings Only during office hours from Monday to Friday.

PAYMENTS

All payments meant for Rugarama School of Nursing and Midwifery are made in Banks and deposit slips brought to the school bursar’s for clearance.
