ABOUT RUGARAMA SCH00L OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY
School Background: Rugarama School of Nursing and Midwifery is a PNFP institution owned by the Diocese of Kigezi with the Bishop of the Diocese as a promoter. The School opened its gates to pioneer students on 29th November 2013.
Physical location: The school is located at Rugarama Hill, opposite Kigezi High School about ½ km from St. Peter’s Cathedral Rugarama.
Vision statement: To be Christ centered nursing school and achieve national and continental eminence as a leader of excellence in nursing education, research, practice and community health care service delivery
Mission: To develop professionally trained nurse who will be team player and offer quality services, meeting the community’s physical, mental and spiritual health needs whilst showing the love of Jesus in their practice

Governance and management: The school has a board of Governors as a policy guiding body. The daily running of the school is by the Principal in collaboration Rugarama Hospital Management Team as a mother hospital.
