Entry Requirements – Certificate Programmes

ST. JOSEPH COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES, BOKO CAMPUS

1) Technician Certificate in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Entry Requirements:

  1. Holders of ACSE with A Principal Pass and Subsidiary pass in Chemistry &Biology
  2. Holders of Basic Certificate in pharmaceutical sciences (NTA Level 4) from recognized institutions or a Pharmaceutical Assistant

Course Duration: 2 year

3) Technician Certificate in Nursing

Entry Requirements:

  1. Holders of ACSE with a Principal Pass and Subsidiary pass in Chemistry &Biolog.
  2. Holders of NTA level 5 in Nursing.

Course Duration : 2 year

1) Diploma in Civil Engineering

Entry Requirements:

  1. Certificate of Secondary Education (Form-4) / with minimum of four passes including “D” pass in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry
  2. ACSE with relevant passes i.e. PCM
  3. Relevant NVA LEVEL 3 plus CSE with passes in PCM

Course duration: 3 years

2) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering 

Entry Requirements:

  1. Certificate of Secondary Education (Form-4) / with minimum of four passes including “D” pass in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry
  2. ACSE with relevant passes i.e. PCM
  3. Relevant NVA LEVEL 3 plus CSE with passes in PCM

3) Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering

1) Doctor Of Medicine

Course Duration : 5 years

Entry Requirements:

  1. Three principal passes in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with minimum entry of 8 points. Whereby one must have at least C grade in Chemistry and Biology and at least D grade in Physics.
  2. Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with at least five (5) passes including two credit passes in chemistry and biology and a D grade in physics PLUS Diploma in clinical medicine with an average of “B+” or GPA of 3.5.
  3. OR Bsc (lower second) majoring in physics/mathematics, chemistry, biology/zoology.
