25,474 CANDIDATES SIT FOR UBTEB APRIL-MAY 2023 TVET ASSESSMENT AN
Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB) commenced successfully today throughout the country.
A total of 25,474 candidates started the examinations at 257 examination centres.
Of these candidates, 10,931 are females and 14,543 are males.
“I wish to commend the Heads of centres and ExaminationsManagers for the smooth start and conduct of examinations across the whole country without major incidences, Oyesigye Onesmus, Executive Secretary, stated.
These Examinations will end on 2nd June 2023.
The examinations being conducted include Diploma and Higher programmes in areas of Engineering and related areas, Diploma and certificate programmes in business education and Humanities, Physical and Biological sciences as well as Modularized Assessments for technical and agricultural programs.
He also added that the Board deployed professional personnel to oversee the smooth conduct of the examinations in accordance with the UBTEB rules and regulations on the conduct of competency-based examinations.
