UBTEB 2023 Pre – Registration Guidelines For Nov/Dec Examination

The Board in accordance with her mandate is pleased to inform Heads of training institutions that the registration circular for November/December 2023 is out.

According to Circular No.5 of 2023 dated 15th September 2023, the normal registration of candidates for the November/December 2023 examinations shall commence on 19th September 2023 and end on 28th October 2023. Late registration shall commence on 31st October 2023.

The categories of the programmes to present candidates shall include; Technical Colleges, Vocational Colleges, Physical and Biological Sciences, and Business and Humanities programmes.

The following guidelines shall be observed by the Institutions before proceeding to register candidates at UBTEB for the Nov/Dec examinations.

A. ONLINE REGISTRATION

National Certificate (Year 1), UCPC and Advanced candidates shall be registered online (All New Candidates).

Confirm that each candidate’s bio-data has been filled correctly, especially the mandatory fields and all the relevant academic documents, birth certificate or national identity card and coloured passport-size photograph attached.

The Date of Birth on the candidate’s documents and any other information about the candidate should not differ as candidates with varying information shall be rejected.

Candidates shall be approved by the Institutions as per the online registration manual.

Candidates’ passport-size photographs should be edited to have registration numbers printed on their chests.

Only candidates who have all the requirements should be approved by the Institution.

B. MANUAL REGISTRATION

Manual registration shall apply to National Certificate (Year 2) candidates and retakers only.

Manual registration shall be carried out as previously done.

C. VERIFICATION AT THE SECRETARIAT

Present the following to the UBTEB secretariat for verification and registration fees computations;

A hard copy of the candidates’ approved admission lists printed from the online
system.

Entry forms for second-year candidates and retakers.

Photo albums for second-year candidates and retakers.

Registration summary forms for all categories of candidates to be registered.
