UDSM Postgraduate Online Application Guidelines

QUICK TIPS FOR ONLINE EXTENDED APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION

Before filling an online application form; carefully select your sough programme of which you must possess at least minimum entry qualifications.
The following steps should be completed to select a chosen programme; (i) select an Academic Discipline/Major Specialization (eg. Engineering, Social Sciences, Education etc (ii) select Programme Type ( PhD, Master or Postgraduate Diploma, (iii) the system will provide a list of all programmes offered by the University of Dar es Salaam with their teaching modes and programme durations for your selection.
Application forms can only be processed if the applicant has duly paid a non-refundable application fee as shown in the advert.

Applicants are also responsible to solicit three academic referees and upload their emails in the system.The system will automatically send them an e-mail for your reference. In an event that one referee or both do not submit their recommendations on time; the system has a provision to enable you send a reminder to them.
Applicants are required to attach all necessary documents including academic certificates, ranscripts and bank payment slips . Otherwise the application will be incomplete for admission processing.

HOW TO APPLY:

Applicants are required to complete all stages as shown on the guideline for Online Application through the link: https://aris2.udsm.ac.tz/pgoa.
1. Register for an account through a link “Register to Apply “at the front page
2. Fill in the Personal information form then click at submit button
3. Use the Username (your email address) and Password that the System provids to log into the system. Please ensure that you write down the password provided by the system so that you can easily remember it. We also advise you to change your password immediately after you have lodged in the system (preferably similar to your existing email password).
Create an application by clicking at the BUTTON (Create application) as shown below Application Welcome, please use the button below to create an application.

Complete the requirements for creating an application by
1. Choosing an appropriate degree programme that you wish to apply for, from the list of programmes
2. Chose Programme mode
3. Evidence of Sponsorship
4. Fill in the Transaction Number of the Receipt (Bank Pay-in-Slip) of the application fee
5. Respond to other parts as requested ,then click at (submit button)
Proceed by clicking at the link (Click here) to proceed CREATE APPLICATION Successful submitted. Click here to proceed.
Fulfil the requirements( Step 1 to 6) demanded through the button ( update/edit application Form) Update/Edit Application Form: Step 1: Personal Information Step 2: Employment Record Step 3: Academic and Professional Qualifications Step 4: Referees ( These should be accademic referees(Undergraduate level and /or Masters level for PHDs applicants) Step 5: Supporting Documents Step 6: Declaration and submission

Remember to attach the bank payment slip of the application fees. You have to pay application fees through the following bank details

NB: If transaction number of the application fee is not accepted by the system, please insert depositing date and time at which the transaction took place as shown in the bankslip.
Deadline for Application is on 15^th July, 2023. In order to avoid unnecessary inconveniences, you are strongly advised to submit your application form as soon as possible.
