The Commissioner general of Prisons informs the general public that recruitment of Recruit Warders / Wardresses into the Uganda Prisons Service shall take place throughout the country at all Fifteen Regional Prisons headquarters at Kabale, Mbarara, Masaka, Kampala, Mukono, Jinja, Mbale, Soroti, Moroto, Lira, Gulu, Arua, Masindi, Fort portal and Mubende. The Requirements, Criteria, Forms and Training Schools have been indicated in the Recruitment Portal. The Uganda Prisons Service_Recruitment is conducted usually during the first quarter of the year (January – March) or the Last quarter of the Year (August -November).

Applications are invited for suitably qualified applicants for the Uganda Prisons Service UPS recruitment exercise. INTERESTED AND SUITABLY QUALIFIED members of the public can apply for any of the positions available at Uganda Prisons Service.
