Busitema University is a multi-campus Public University located in Eastern Uganda.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill vacant positions at the University. Interested persons who meet the requirements should submit 3 sets of applications duly signed together with detailed Curriculum Vitae with names of three referees, Academic Certificates and Transcripts and copies of Appointment Letters, 3 recent passport photographs in envelopes addressed to the University Secretary, Busitema University, P.O. Maritime Institute, Namasagali Campus located in Namasagali Sub-county, Kamuli District. *Note (ii)
Salary Scale: M3
1 a) A PhD in Marine Engineering from a recognized Institution of higher learning.
b) Master of Science in Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institution of higher learning.
c) Bachelors of Science Degree in Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institution of higher learning.
d) Eight (8) years of University teaching experience or relevant working experience in a reputable Organization or Industry
e) Eighteen (18) recognized publications in the area of specialization, eight (8) of which as the First/
Corresponding/ Senior author.
f) Supervision of five (5) Graduate students (2 of which must be PhD Students)
g) Evidence of contribution to Community
