About Kampala Institute of Health Professionals Clinical Medicine and Community Health

Kampala Institute of Health Professionals (KIHP) was first established in 2011 as a non-profit organization. Today it is one of the leading medical institutes in Uganda with several Awards. Although the institute has been in existence for a few years, this has not affected it’s being brought into the fold of science councils in Uganda and given the full support of the Department of Health.

VISION

To achieve national and international eminence as an academic institution in continuing professional education: basic and clinical research, clinical practice and service, public health and prevention, and responsiveness to its community.

MISSION

To provide a comprehensive model of health care services, education, and economic empowerment to help the community alleviate poverty, and disease, obtain higher education, and create sustainable development.

OBJECTIVE

To provide community health development through health education, immunization reproductive health models, nutrition, care to people leaving with HIV/AIDS (PLWHAS), and community outreaches as an institution.
