Courses and Intakes
Kampala University offers over 65 certificate, diploma’s, bachelor’s and master’s programmes which are designed to develop professionals with integrity, power of critical inquiry, logical thought and independent judgment with moral values. The programmes are offered in two intakes of January and August and run on semester basis.
At the ground floor of the university, the building is the main library comprising of one section, which is situated at Kampala University main Campus Ggaba. It has a seating capacity of One hundred users, over 32,000 print volumes, over 500 journal titles, and over 900 dissertations. It has 30 computers all linked to the Internet. The Wireless Internet coverage is also available in the Library, enabling students and staff with wireless devices to access the internet while in the Library in line with E-Resources.
The Dean of Students Office is responsible for all students’ accommodation. With 4000 students in our accommodation spaces, Kampala University proud to monitor students’ safety and health throughout academic years. Dean of Students Office is responsible for Residence Management and Life, Finance Administration, Placement Management, Accommodation and Maintenance Management, Student Support – Residences, Residence Systems and Food Services. One is able to manage the various needs of our student sector living in a residence. It is mandatory that all “First year international students” reside on campus because they are fresh in the country.
KU enjoys 90 percent WiFi coverage with an added advantage of computer laboratories to enhance teaching, learning, and research in relation to online library services.
