Muni University Extension Of Deadline For Private Sponsorship Scheme Applications
The Academic Registrar Muni University wishes to inform prospective applicants and the general public that the Deadline for application (for admission) to underlisted entry schemes for the Academic Year has been extended to AUGUST 2024.
[1]. Admission to Undergraduate Programmes
i) UACE/A’ level leavers,
ii) Diploma Holders
iii) Mature Age Certificate Holders, and
iv) Holders of Higher Education Certificate.
[2]. Admission to Postgraduate programmes
i) Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management- PGDFM (Weekend and/or online).
ii) Master of Education in Education Planning and management (20% Face-to-face and 80% Online).
[3]. Admission to Higher Education Access Certificate- (1 Year course in: Humanities, Biological, and Physical Sciences)

[2]. Successful applicants admitted on private sponsorship can apply for Student Loan Scheme on specific programmes.
[3]. Limited scholarships for qualifying Uganda applicants exit for eligible applicants for Higher Education Certificate.
[4]. Diploma holders wishing to apply for Bachelor of Nursing Science need NOT to apply.

HOW TO APPLY
APPLICATION IS ONLINE. Please follow the Online application procedure below. The applicant MUST have an active (functional) email address and a Mobile phone number.
(i) Log in: https://admissions.muni.ac.ug/
(ii) Click SIGN UP/REGISTER using full name, e-mail, and mobile number.
Please note that your name must be similar to the one on your supporting documents for your application to be accepted by the system.
(iii) A six-digit code/password will be sent to both your e-mail and mobile telephone number.
(iv) The system will prompt you to change the password to the one you can easily remember.
(v) To fill the application form, click on “APPLY NOW” displayed on the running scheme. The following schemes are running; select appropriately:
Bachelor of Education- BED
Extension,
Diploma entry- Private
extension,
Graduate studies- Extension,
Short Courses
Undergraduate (A’ level) Direct
entry- Extension,
HEC- Biological Sciences,
HEC- PHYSC, and
Higher Education CertificateHumanities.
(vi) Once all details are filled, click “SUBMIT FORM”
(vii) Attach your SCANNED Academic documents by clicking on “ATTACH FILES” (Please note that the system will not allow you to proceed to payments if you have not attached your academic documents).
(viii) Obtain a payment slip by clicking “PAY FOR FORM” button and get
PAYMENT REFERENCE NUMBER, which you will used to pay application fees. Select either Bank or Mobile Money (i.e., AIRTEL OR MTN).
(ix) Pay a non-refundable application fee of Ug. shs. 50,000 plus bank
charge at any Bank branch (NOT Bank Agents) or through Mobile Money accordingly.
IMPORTANT NOTES
(i) Please note that before you commence the online application process,
scan academic documents and birth certificate and/or national id (as a single file in pdf format not exceeding 1 mb).
(ii) Only correctly filled/complete and paid-up applications will be processed for selection and admission purposes.
(iii) Admission which will be communicated on the University Website,
Noticeboards, your email address, and/or SMS sent to your phones by the system.
