Nkumba University School of Law

By | February 12, 2020

The School of Law trains Law graduates and its component, the Institute of Criminal Justice, trains Criminal Justice graduates. The kind of graduate Nkumba Law School is striving to produce is one who would adhere to the motto of Nkumba University –“I OWE YOU.”

The Lawyer has to be one like the early Roman lawyer, who would put service to his/her client and society at large first, rather than being merely a money chaser; law graduates answering the needs of their immediate environment; the country of their operations, the East Africa Region; with the revived and expanding co-operation among the Eastern Africa States. The criminal Justice graduate has to be that one who responds to societal needs of preventing and managing crime.
