UPDF Promotions And Appointments

H.E the President and Commander in Chief of the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces has promoted and appointed Senior UPDF Officers as follows:

1. Colonel Paul Muhanguzi promoted to Brigadier General and appointed Second Infantry Division – Second in Command.
2. Colonel Peter Akankunda promoted to Brigadier General and appointed First Infantry Division – Second in Command.

The Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs and UPDF fraternity congratulate the Senior Officers upon their well-deserved promotions and appointments.
