We are looking to hire a skilled e-commerce developer to build and maintain our eCommerce website. You will be responsible for liaising with the biz dev team, customizing Magento 2x based sites, building modules and customizing extensions, testing the performance of each site, and maintaining security and feature updates after the installation is complete.
To ensure success as an e-commerce developer, you should have excellent object-orientated programming knowledge of JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Web Programming Skills, UI/UX design, and be able to project manage.
E-commerce Developer Responsibilities
1. Act as e-commerce expert, specializing in all facets of the e-commerce platform
2. Building and configuring eCommerce platform websites.
3. Strong hands to Install & Customize the theme
4. Designing themes and interfaces.
5. Setting performance tasks and goals.
6. Troubleshooting integration issues.
7. Updating website features and security patches.
Magento Developer Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
2. Demonstrable experience of developing e-commerce sites (preferable in Magento)
3. Magento certification is definitely a plus
4. Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, PHP.
5. Experience with complete eCommerce lifecycle development.
6. Understanding of modern UI/UX trends.
7. Ability to project-manage and work to strict deadlines.
8. Ability to work in a team environment.
Working style: either full-time or part-time depending on your availability and skill level
