About the Intra-Africa Programme
The Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scholarship Programme is a cooperation and mobility programme in the area of higher education. It promotes cooperation between higher education institutions and supports mobility in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific regions.
The Programme aims to increase access to quality education that will encourage and enable students to undertake postgraduate studies and to promote student retention in the region along with the mobility of staff (academic and administrative) while increasing the competitiveness and attractiveness of the institutions themselves.
Under this framework, HEED-Africa is one of the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Programme projects funded by the European Commission.

About HEED-Africa
The Harmonization of Entrepreneurship Education for Sustainable Development of Africa (HEED-Africa) project is made up of a consortium of partner universities from Africa and Europe. The consortium comprises Addis Ababa University, the Coordinating Institution (Ethiopia), the University of Ghana (Ghana), Milpark Education (South Africa), Makerere University (Uganda), Kyambogo University (Uganda) and the University of Wolverhampton (United Kingdom).
HEED-Africa strives to foster the development of student and staff academic exchange through systematic academic mobility flows framework in a joint study, research, academic activities, and mobility agreements across five regional higher education institutions.
The main objective of HEED-Africa is to develop and implement harmonized knowledge ecosystems in entrepreneurship through embedding. It also aims to create learning conditions to increase the ability of graduates to become job creators rather than job seekers’ administrative staff.
