Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants for admission into the Mount Meru University MMU Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Certificate, Diploma, Short Courses, and Masters programs offered for the academic year.
Both Tanzanians and interested foreign applicants can apply for the Mount Meru University MMU Intake Application Form as Government Sponsored or Self Sponsored candidates.
The Mount Meru University MMU online admission application forms intake is open to all interested applicants irrespective of color, race, ethnic identity, religion, gender, or national origin, provided they qualify for the programme for which they have applied.
To use the Online Application System you will need internet access, as well as an email address that you can access regularly because as soon as you submit your online application, a confirmation mail will be sent to your email address.
MMU Undergraduate Admission Requirements
Direct Entry:
At least Two principle pass the ‘A’ level secondary school education examination with a total of not less than 2.5 points whereby, A=5, B+ =4,
B=3 C=2, D=1, E=0.5, and F=0. The university’s medium of instruction is English. Therefore, a student must pass MMU Basic English Test
during orientation.
Those who will not reach the passing mark will be required to take a Basic English course offered in the Department of Languages
in the Faculty of Education.
An applicant is required to follow admission procedures laid by Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) and
National Council for Technical Education (NACTE).
Equivalent Entry:
A relevant accredited diploma of not less than second class, or credit or average of “B” grade or the RPL from TCU/NACTE recognized institutions/Centers.
