Mother Kevin Postgraduate Medical School Nsambya is offering 3-year fulltime postgraduate Programmes leading to the award of a MASTER OF MEDICINE (M.Med.) degree in the disciplines of Emergency MedicineInternal Medicine; Obstetrics and GynecologyPaediatrics; and Surgery. The eighth intake will commence studies in August for the academic year. The degrees will be awarded by Uganda Martyrs University. Entry Requirements

Applications for the above Programmes should be only by medical doctors qualified from recognized medical schools and have completed their internship. They should, in addition, possess;

  • A Certificate of Good Standing from the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council or corresponding authority of the country of origin of the applicant,
  • A recommendation from the supervisor of their internship in the applicant’s chosen discipline of study,
  • A recommendation from the supervisor where the applicant has worked for the last six months of employment,

How to Apply

Application Forms can be obtained from the office of the Dean Postgraduate Medical School at Nsambya or from the UMU website (www.umu.ac.ug).  A non-refundable Application Fee of Shs100,000/= for nationals or $50.00 for non-nationals must be paid on issue of the form. This covers also eligibility to sit pre-entry examination and interview.

All Applications should be forwarded to the Postgraduate Medical School, Nsambya at the address below not later than Friday 30th March 2018. They should contain the full Postal, E-mail addresses, and telephone number of the applicants. Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a pre-entry examination and interview at the Post Graduate School in Nsambya on May .
