General Admission Criteria
The minimum admission requirement is a National Senior Certificate (NSC) Bachelors pass – an achievement rating of 4 (adequate achievement 50-59%) or better in four subjectschosen from the recognised 20 credit NSC subjects (known as the designated subject list).

UWC Point Score
For admission to degree and diploma programmes UWC uses a weighted system forcalculating points. In order to be admitted to degree studies the candidate should have attained a minimum number of points. Refer to each programme on the reverse side of this pamphlet to determine the number of points required. The attached table indicates how points are allocated.
In addition to point score requirements mentioned above, additional criteria must be met to qualify for admission to particular study programmes. Specific programme admission requirements can be found on the reverse side of this pamphlet.
